TruRacing Experience

For the drivers who want to experience the thrill of high speed karting TruRacing uses 100cc Yamaha racing engines on real racing chasses. Speeds approaching 60 MPH can be acheived! Recommended for an introduction into the world of karting. Choose from the TruRacing Basic or the TruRacing Plus packages available below. Either way you and your friends will have memories of a lifetime.

Though not meant as racer training, driver's will experiene the adrenaline rush that many people never get the opportunity to experience.

TruRacing Basic - $150

(3 person min)

Session1: This 8 lap session will be a lead follow session to help you identify the line of the racetrack behind an experienced kart driver.

Session 2: This is an 10 lap session which allows passing at designated points on the track when atuthroized by the flagman. (Authorized Passing)

Session 3: This is an 10 lap session which allows passing at driver's discretion, but only at designated points on the track. (Controlled Passing)

TruRacing Plus - $200

(3 person minimum)

Session 1: This 10 lap session will be a lead follow session to help you identify the line of the racetrack behind an experienced kart driver.

Session 2: This is a 10 lap session which allows passing at designated points on the track when authroized by the flagman.

Session 3: This is a 10 lap session which allows passing at driver's discretion, but only at designated points on the track.

Session 4: This is a 10 lap session which allows passing at driver's discretion, but only at designated points on the track

Racer Development

Are you the driver who yearns to race? Learn the basics required to become a club racer at NTK. TruRacing offers a racer development package designed to help build your skill level to that required to race as a novice racer with the best at NTK.

TruRacing Club - $225 (2 person minimum)

Multiple sessions with emphasis on the driving line, braking zones, and cornering. This is conducted by a kart racing champion with years of experience. Sessions will be complemented by off-track instruction. Drivers can expect approximately 40 laps of practice. TruRacing Basic or Plus must be completed prior to this course.

Once you complete the Racer Development course, you may participte in the TruRacing Arrive and Race program. Having learned the basics of cornering, braking, and overall kart handling, the TruRacing Arrive and Race program allows you to participate in club racing with little or no personal preparation. You can arrive, have your kart ready and waiting. Fees to be paid by racer, call for details

TruRacing Arrive and Race - $200

($300 additional refundable damage deposit required)

TruRacing Plus and truRacing Club are a prerequisite for this program.

Participate as a novice racer at a North Texas Karter's race event in a Yamaha Class.

Includes kart, safety equipement, and fuel. NTK race format is qualifying, pre-final, and final event. This is an exciting introduction to racing at NTK.
