| What do I need to bring? | |
| Wear shoes that fit over the ankle, and jeans for pants. | |
| What about other equipment? | |
| We have helmets, gloves, neck braces and karting suits of varying size | |
| What kind of Karts are they? | |
| TruRacing uses Veloce racing chassis, and Yamaha KT100 2 cycle engines. The karts can reach speeds approaching 60 mph. | |
| What about food and drinks? | |
| TruRacing will supply water at each event. Gatorade and coffee may be available as well. | |
| What if I can’t get there on time? | |
| All courses require a $50 non refundable deposit included in the course fee. Courses will start promptly as scheduled, if you run late**for your scheduled course you may run the remaining full sessions, and your fee will be prorated to the sessions run. Rescheduling of the full course will be at instructor discretion*. The client would still forfeit the $50 deposit. | |
| What if I need to cancel? | |
| Cancellations by the client must be made by 24 hours prior to the course scheduled start time to receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours or no shows will forfeit the $50 dollar deposit. | |
| What if the weather looks bad? | |
| TruRacing will determine if a cancellation due to weather is necessary and will make its best efforts to cancel any courses scheduled two hours prior to any event. In the event TruRacing cancels an entire event due to weather, or for any reason, clients will be entitled to a full refund of the course purchased. | |
| Are there any other fees? | |
| TruRacing is not a Kart rental business; fees paid by a client are for the course purchased. However to emphasize the high performance of the karts and the driver care that must be exercised during events, a 5 dollar penalty will be added to a clients fee for each time that driver causes all four wheels to go off the track. Further, rough or unsafe driving (as determined by the instructor/s) will not be tolerated. Said drivers will be removed from the track and may forfeit any remaining sessions. Normal wear to the equipment is expected, however damage caused by rough or unsafe driving may be charged to that driver. | |
